Diabetes and Nutrition

For a diabetic, the main objective is to focus on low glycemic index foods to avoid too sharp a rise in blood sugar.

In fact, the diabetic diet is similar to healthy food that everyone should follow: here you must only be more rigorous and careful.

General Tips:

* Make three balanced meals at regular times each day
* Do not snack and do not skip meals
* Have 1-2 snacks if necessary
* Lose weight if necessary
* Playing sports
* Balance carbohydrate intake and never eat a sweet food alone (unless hypoglycemia)
* Eat enough fiber
