Diabetes, commonly known as diabetes mellitus, is characterized by a high sugar in the blood (hyperglycemia). This rate is higher than 1.26 g / l (7.7 mmol / l) at a dose fasting or greater than 2g / l at any time of day. Diabetes type 2 (formerly Diabetes fat or non-insulin-dependent), the most common, is usually detected after 40 years. It is mostly other cases in the family.
